3.Basic Scan

The “Basic” function in Duplicate File Cleaner can help you scan and clean up the duplicate files from your entire system thus provide more space on your hard drives and allow applications to run faster and more efficiently.

You may follow the steps below to do the “Basic” scan:

1. Run your Duplicate File Cleaner, click “Basic” tab on the panel.

2. Select the drives that you want to scan in the left column,

3. There are 4 scan options on the right hand column including “scan mode”, “scan file”, “duplicate file also have”, and “Don’t scan”, make selection according to your situation.

4, Click “Scan Now” to start the scanning.

5. Once scanning completes, you can select how to deal with the junk files, remove them to Recycle Bin or delete them directly.

6. Tick “select all” if you want to delete all the duplicate file.

7. Click “delete” to delete the file.
